EVCO
UK
started in the 1950’s by Edgar Vaughn in the United
Kingdom. The name of this
company was made up of his initials E.V. and the abbreviation of
“company”.
EVCO
France was initially founded in 1978 by Nicholas Paul Camacho.
The
business model called for a substantial stock and strong organisation,
in order to reduce lead times to the OEM’s and aftermarket.
This service, together with an experienced team, able to give fast
technical advices, enabled EVCO to grow up rapidly, and to realize 35%
of its turnover for the OEM sector. The EVCO’s trade is also
represented trough more than a hundred of customers all around the
world.
The
customers demands both in terms of enhanced seal life and in terms of
guarantees (quality) was a guideline for our development strategy.
As
a result, the company’s business plan was defined to cope
with four main objectives:

To enhance
service and personalize the offer to the market (Information
technology),
•
To increase our
internal European production of high technology materials: PTFE and
FFKM, based on our know how,
•
To conceive our
own products by compression, injection, centrifugation and machining.
•
To be part of
its customers engineering process, both for the OEM’s and
aftermarket, in order to reduce costs whilst increasing sealing
performance.
Consequently,
EVCO’s Group draws on the technical skills and production
abilities of its 5 different subsidiaries:
- EVCO: Head Office located in Isère (FRANCE 38), where following
Department are represented : Research, Conception,
Certification,
Logistic and
Sales
- Colubra: Production Unit located in Isère (FRANCE 38), specialized in
injection moulding of thermoplastic materials (POM, Polyamide PA6G,
Polyurethane PU...) special parts machining until diameter of 320mm,
that can be produced in 24 hours
- Interseal: Production
Unit located in FECHAIN (FRANCE 59) produces compression moulded
products as AFLAS, FFKM Dynalast®... and is well equipped with
CNC equipment for machining profiles until diameter of 520mm, that can
be produced in 24/48 hours

of market, companies and requirements evolutions, EVCO kept the same
